Sassuolo (MEX) and Vasco da Gama (BRA) starred in a breathtaking match this Sunday afternoon (06) for the semifinals of the Women's League of the Americas. After being behind on the scoreboard, Vasco looked for a reaction and turned the opponent by 5 to 4, guaranteeing a place in the grand final of the competition.
The highlight of the classification was on account of Paloma, isolated scorer of the competition, with eight goals. Paloma helped Cruzmaltino win by scoring two goals. Taninha, Jéssica Getúlio and Thais closed the scoring. For the Mexican team, Valeria Macias scored twice. Rubí and Lulu completed.
