Brazil and Mexico had a busy match, this afternoon (Tuesday), for the second round of the Women's Copa America. Playing at the Rodrigo Mendes Arena, the Brazilian team beat their opponents 2-0.
Brazil opened the scoring with Taninha's goal, at 5 minutes of the first half. After the goal, the Selection continued to impose pressure and extended the score with a great goal from Camilla. In the second stage, Mexico sought more the game, but Brazil was more effective in defense and ensured the result.
With the triumph, Brazil leads group A, with six points. Mexico comes soon after, with three points.
The third round takes place this Tuesday. Mexico faces Chile. Brazil faces Colombia.
