Flamengo won this Tuesday (23rd) the Women's Club World Cup, the most important tournament in the world. In the final, the team defeated Mexico's Sassuolo by 9-4, in a game that featured the red-black fans in the Olympic Park, in Rio de Janeiro, as well as millions of people who followed it on television and streaming.
Flamengo started the game in an amazing way, scoring after 30 seconds of play. In the sequence, the team from Rio expanded the advantage, closing the first half in 4-0. In the second stage, Sassuolo pressed and managed to reduce the score. But Flamengo was efficient in the counterattacks and ended the score 9-4. Thaís won the award for best player, Victória Gomes won for best coach and Alane Reis was the best goalkeeper in the competition. Tati was the top scorer in the tournament.
