Last weekend, the Pacific Cup brought together four teams from two countries at Murcielago Beach, in Manta. After three days of competition, the final of the women's category was played between Gol 7, from Colombia, and Xportus, from Ecuador. After 2-2 in normal time, Gol 7 defeated the opponent on penalties 2-1 and lifted the champion trophy.
Gol 7 opened the scoring in the first half in a long throw in the area, but soon took the tie before the break. In the second half, Sanchez turned the game around with a great goal. But with four minutes to go, the Colombian team tied the game, taking the game to penalties. In the kicks, both teams converted the first kicks. The Colombian goalkeeper saved the last hit of Xportus, giving the title to Gol 7. Check out how the game went:
