In one of the most balanced matches of the competition, Late Fútbol and Bogotá Seven draw 2-2 in regulation time and the Colombians win 3-2 in the penalty shootout

The quarterfinal matches of Copa Sudamericana were the big attraction on Saturday night (23) at SB5 Fútbol - Quadra 1, in Buenos Aires. On court, Late Fútbol (ARG) and Bogotá Seven (COL) sought a spot in the semifinals. The teams played an electrifying match that ended in a 2-2 draw, with Late Fútbol winning 3-2 on penalties.

Argentinians and Colombians played the last duel of the quarterfinals. Under a heavy fog, the teams started the match at a slower pace. The first chances were slow to emerge. Bogotá showed a great performance and scored in the first great opportunity created. Axur received a beautiful assist and with his left leg he shot near the goal. 1-0 to the Colombian team. Late almost got the equalizer in the 17th minute. However, the ball didn't hit the net. In the end, the Colombian team was in advantage for the break. 1 a 0.

In the second half, an exciting game. Three more goals. The teams came back in a calmer rhythm. However, this tranquility did not last long. At 14, André shot from outside the area and scored Bogotá's second. Behind the scoreboard, the Argentine team needed an epic reaction to qualify and went for it. At 16, Alexander hit a free-kick with great category and scored Late Fútbol 2-1. Three minutes later, the team still sent a ball against the post. It was almost equal. But it came. At 20 minutes, Luca sent a shot from outside the area into the corner. A painting to leave everything equal. Both teams tried to score the winning goal, but neither was successful. The decision would be made in the penalty shootout. The final: Late Fútbol 2 x 2 Bogotá Seven.

Both teams converted well in the first two shootouts. In the last regulation series, the goalkeepers made two beautiful saves. It took them to the alternating rounds. Late converted the first one and depended on a save by Ivan to qualify. The Late goalkeeper lived up to expectations and saved Juan's shot. Late Fútbol secured the last place in the semifinals and will face Resak2 (ARG).
