The Sudamerican Cup hosted the confrontation between S.A BetEsporte (Brazil) and Resak2 (Argentina) this Sunday (24), at S5 Fútbol, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for the grand final.
S.A Bet Esporte reached the grand final, after having ranked first in its group (Group C) with three wins in three games (7x0 against Bogotá Seven (Colombia); 3x0 in Comodoro (Argentina) and 28x1 in Tigre from Budge (Paraguay)). In the second phase BetEsporte defeated Rotonda (Chile) by 5-1 (quaterfinals) and scored 9x0 at City Club (Argentina)
Resak 2 (Argentina) also passed with ease to the second stage, with three wins in three games in Group B. 9x0 in the Super Liga de Pilar (Argentina), 5x1 in City Club (Argentina) and 7x0 in René Schneider (Chile). In the second stage, the Argentine team still tied with the Super Liga Argentina in 3-3 qualifying on pênaltis (2x1), and also by defeating Late Fútbol (Argentina) 2-1 on penalties, after a goalless draw in time normal.
In the first half, with less than 2 minutes, at least two opportunities to open the score. In one of them Bet Esporte placed the ball on the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Kelvin had an incredible chance to open the scoring, but the Argentine team's goalkeeper made a save to send it to a corner. At 18 minutes, Bet Esporte had a new opportunity to define, but the ball exploded on the crossbar and did not enter. Despite the good opportunities, none of the teams managed to take the zero off the scoreboard.
In the second half, Willi made an important save, at 7 minutes, for the Argentine team after a free kick by BetEsporte. In the 12th minute, BetEsporte managed to open the scoring, Wembley in a failure of the Argentine team's defense, headed to put the Brazilian team in front.
