Argentina plays an intense game and triumphs 3-1 against Chile

The group stage matches of the women's Copa America were the big attraction on the morning of Tuesday (26) at SB5 Fútbol - Quadra 1, in Buenos Aires. On court, Chile and Argentina sought three more points in the competition. Argentina played an intense game and triumphed 3-1.

Two teams with good campaigns in the competition. Chile is undefeated in its two games (a win and a draw) and Argentina is coming from a win in its debut. Both teams promoted an extremely balanced and strong first half. At 15, La Albiceleste almost took the score to zero with a good shot from outside the area. However, the goalkeeper of La Roja made a crucial save. Chile also had a good chance to take the lead, but couldn't get a shot off. The score was zero-zero until the end of the first half.

In the second half, a totally different match. Both teams came back wanting to win. At 7, Argentina's number 11 received in the area and did not waste the opportunity. 1-0 to La Albiceleste. Chile's response was fast and with a beautiful goal. In the 12th minute, Bárbara took the ball and shot the ball over the goalkeeper. All equal. 1 a 1. But the Argentine team wanted all three points. One minute later, Guerrero picked up the rebound and put Argentina in the lead. The game became intense. Both teams created good opportunities. But it was Argentina who managed to score one more goal. In the 22nd minute, Maria made a beautiful shot from far away. Defining the duel. Final: Chile 1 x 3 Argentina. The result left La Albiceleste at the top of the table with two wins in two games.
