Natália Riveros is the great star of the Colombia team in the World Championship

Colombia participates in all international football 7 competitions since 2016 in the men's category. The women debuted in 2018 and have always had a great performance in international competitions, being runners-up in the Nations Cup and runner-up in the world in the same year.

The most experienced athlete on the team and also the biggest reference in Colombian 7-a-side football is Natália Riveros, who in 2022 won the Pacific Cup title and was also elected the best player in the world in the modality.

The Football 7 World Championship is in its eighth edition and the last final was between Brazil and Russia. The Brazilian team was the champion. The next edition of the competition is in Puebla (Mexico) and will be played in two events. In the first event between national teams and in the second event between clubs.
