The group draw for the eighth edition of the Football 7 World Championship was held

This Tuesday at the Televisa studios in Mexico, the group draw for the Football 7 World Championship took place. This is the eighth edition of the competition and will have the participation of 16 national teams in the men's category and 08 in the women's category.

In the first phase the teams will be distributed in groups with 04 countries. The top two teams in each group qualify for the final playoff. The games will be held between the 7th and 10th of September at the Convention Center in Puebla (Mexico).

“We are very happy to welcome the event, athletes and tourists from different countries around the world. We are preparing a beautiful party to welcome the international football 7 community and encourage tourism in the city of Puebla,” said Antonio Iniarte, sports secretary of Puebla.
