Uruguay Wins the 2024 Nations Cup Title in Argentina

The Nations Cup was held in Argentina with 4 countries participating. This is the third edition of the event, which was last held in Barcelona (Spain) in 2019. The teams competed in a single-elimination format.

In the semifinals, Uruguay faced Chile, and after a 2-2 draw, Uruguay won 3-2 on penalties. In the other semifinal, El Salvador and Colombia drew 4-4, and El Salvador won 3-2 on penalties. In the final, Uruguay defeated El Salvador 2-1 and secured its first international title in the sport.

Santiago was named the best goalkeeper, and Matias Veneroso was named the best player of the competition.
